Ben Franklin once said, “Time is money.”

Time efficiency is an important issue.

Consider these useful timesavers as you work at your computer:

  1. Backspace – When using many internet browsers, the Backspace key normally allows the user to return to the previous web page without requiring use of the mouse.
  2. AutoCorrect – Microsoft Word and other software packages often have an autocorrect list; say you mistakenly enter “teh” —the computer automatically converts this error to “the”. Did you know you can customize your autocorrect list? Suppose your company name is Struther Sanders, Co., you could customize your list so that when you type “ss”, autocorrect replaces these letters with your company name.
  3. Template – If you often create documents of the same type, consider using a template to reduce repetition.
